Jacque Frances Graduate Radio Journalism (IAPR)

The quality of teaching at the Irish Academy is excellent, with great attention to detail. I had not imagined that I would learn so much. I was guided always in a friendly and supportive manner which made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. In addition, there was always a member of staff that could be approached if you needed help with any administrative aspect of the course, whom again were friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting a qualitative experience from the educational process.

Fiona Keeley Graduate Radio Journalism (IAPR)

If I could sum this course up in one word, superb. As someone who previously had only tasted the world of broadcasting, this course really showed me the potential it could bring to my life. Everyone from the director, Ellen Gunning, to my assigned tutor has been extremely helpful and supportive and takes my personal interests in broadcasting into account. When I finish this course I will be armed with the skills to go out into the broadcasting world that you can only learn from professionals in the business. I would recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in radio or wants to improve their radio journalism skills.

Tara Farrell Graduate Radio Journalism (IAPR)

I started studying with the Irish Academy of Public Relations after a friend of mine recommended their certificate course in News Journalism. The course allowed me to return to study with like-minded people in a relaxed and professional set up at an affordable price. Studying with the Academy has been a pleasure from day one and their help and guidance has been a crucial factor in enabling me to achieve a life-long ambition. As a former graduate of the Irish Academy's Journalism course, I had no hesitation in returning to undertake the Diploma in Radio Journalism. The flexible, online approach was key for me as I work full-time. This course gave me an excellent insight into the whole area of radio journalism and the tutor input was fantastic. There is a really good balance between the practical and the theoretical and each of the 20 modules are really engaging. I never thought I would say this about a final assignment but it was a very enjoyable experience! I have to also acknowledge the support from Chris, the Student Liaison Officer who was fantastic in terms of feedback and answering any queries throughout. If you are looking to up skill in any area of media production then definitely look no further than the Irish Academy of Public Relations.
